Bladder infection

Although bladder infections are the most common type of urinary tract infection (UTI), any part of your urinary tract—urethra, bladder, ureters, and kidneys—can become infected. A UTI can be exacerbated by your age, habits, or health conditions. A burning sensation when urinating is one of the signs of a bladder infection. The majority of female infections are caused by bacteria from the bowel that enter the urethra and bladder. The majority of infections in men are caused by issues that restrict normal urine flow, such as an enlarged prostate.
